Jason launched his own restaurant company, Jason Atherton Ltd. in 2010 with his first independent venture Table No.1 in Shanghai. His flagship restaurant, Pollen Street Social, opened in April 2011 in Mayfair and within 6 months was awarded a Michelin star and came second at the National Restaurant Awards. It was ranked number six in The Good Food Guide's Top 50 Restaurants in 2013/2014 and awarded four AA rosettes.
Jason’s portfolio of restaurants then spread internationally to include Esquina, Pollen and Keong Saik Snacks in Singapore; 22 Ships in Hong Kong ; Commune Social in Shanghai; Little Social, Social Eating House and Berners Tavern in London. In early 2014 he will be opening his fifth London eatery at Tower 42, a second restaurant in Hong Kong and his first venture in Dubai.
